Tom Tighe, President

Tom Tighe, President

As President of Enablence's Systems Division, Tom is leading the company's efforts on capturing the fiber to the home market. He founded Wave7 Optics and acted as President and CEO, establishing it as an industry leader and winning customers around the world. Prior to Wave7, Tom was the Wireless Group President and Corporate Vice President at World Access, a telecommunications company that experienced over 100% growth in revenues during his tenure. He also has held management positions at ANTEC and AT&T Bell Laboratories and Network Systems. Tom graduated in 1985 with a BSME from the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA and holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts.

Mark Carpenter, Senior Vice President/General Manager North America

Mark Carpenter, Senior Vice President and General Manager of North America

Mark Carpenter served Pannaway as Vice President of Business Development from March 2005 to September 2005 and then as President from October 2005 until the merger with Enablence in November 2008. Prior to joining Pannaway, he served as an executive officer of Tut Systems from March 2000 to February 2005, in roles spanning Vice President of Partner Development, Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of Product Development and Marketing. From April 1997 to March 2000, Mr. Carpenter held roles spanning Director of Engineering through Senior Director of Marketing at Compaq Computer Corporation, during which time he spearheaded the creation of the HomePNA and commercially launched the world's first home networked and broadband connected PCs. Previous to this, Mr. Carpenter was with IBM Corporation for a total of 12 years.

Michael Skubisz, Vice President of Technology Planning

Michael Skubisz, Vice President of Technology Planning

Michael Skubisz is a long-time veteran of the telecommunications industry in both management and product development. He is also a highly respected authority on Internet Protocols. Most recently Michael was CEO of Aprisma Management Technologies, an international OSS and enterprise software company. Prior to Aprisma, he held senior management positions at Cabletron Systems, Inc., and was responsible for the conception, delivery and marketing of the company's over $1 billion IP networking and software product lines. Michael has been a featured speaker at hundreds of enterprise and telco focused industry events and continues to deliver insightful presentations on the future direction of IP. Michael has been granted several U.S. patents for data communications technology and has held board level positions at numerous startup corporations.

Kevin Brown, Vice President of Systems Engineering

Kevin Brown, Vice President of Systems Engineering

Kevin, in his role as Vice President of Systems Engineering for Enablence Systems, is responsible for the product and market strategy for the North American Access Market. Kevin is a 15+ year veteran of the networking industry and has extensive experience with Ethernet based transport and access systems. In his role as Enablence's representative in both the Fiber to the Home Council and the Full Service Access Network (FSAN) Kevin is actively driving the definition and deployment of next generation FTTx networks. Prior to joining Enablence, Kevin was the Vice President of Marketing at Pannaway Networks. Prior to Pannaway Kevin served as Vice President and General Manager of the Switching Business Unit at Enterasys Networks.
