Mark Carpenter, President

Mark Carpenter, President

Mark Carpenter comes to Pannaway Networks as President after serving from March 2000 to February 2005 as an executive officer of Tut Systems, in roles spanning Vice President of Partner Development, Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of Product Development and Marketing. From April 1997 to March 2000, Mr. Carpenter held roles spanning Director of Engineering through Senior Director of Marketing at Compaq Computer Corporation, during which time he spearheaded the creation of the HomePNA and commercially launched the world's first home networked and broadband connected PCs. Previous to this, Mr. Carpenter was with IBM Corporation for a total of 12 years.

Robert Monaco, Chief Operating Officer

Robert Monaco, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Monaco has over 20 years industry experience. He was a co-founder of Personal Electronics in 1991, and served as Vice President with responsibilities for overall finance and operations, including sales and materials management. Prior to co-founding Personal Electronics, Mr. Monaco spent seven years with Cabletron Systems in various roles including Director of Operations, where he was responsible for the startup of the customer service and technical support functions, as well as opening of numerous domestic and international sales offices. Mr. Monaco also played a key role in Cabletron Systems' IPO.

Susan Levenson, Chief Financial Officer

Susan Levenson, Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining Pannaway Networks, Susan Levenson spent eight years at Cabletron Systems in financial management positions. As Financial Services Manager she was responsible for A/R and all credit, channel and OEM financing programs. She was a process owner for Cabletron's operational CRM initiative with responsibility for implementing internal controls around a Siebel front-office and SAP back-office. She oversaw the integration of A/R functions from the acquisition of the DEC networking division. She had overall responsibility for over $700 million in receivables and a department of 35 employees. Prior to joining Cabletron Susan spent 10 years in retail/manufacturing companies in financial operation roles. Susan received a BS in Accounting with honors from Franklin Pierce College.

Michael Skubisz, Chief Technologist

Michael Skubisz, Chief Technical Officer

Michael Skubisz is a long-time veteran of telecommunications industry in both management and product development. He is also a highly respected authority on Internet Protocols. Most recently Michael was CEO of Aprisma Management Technologies, an international OSS and enterprise software company. Prior to Aprisma, he held senior management positions at Cabletron Systems, Inc., and was responsible for the conception, delivery and marketing of the company's over $1 billion IP networking and software product lines. Michael has been a featured speaker at hundreds of enterprise and telco focused industry events and continues to deliver insightful presentations on the future direction of IP. Michael has been granted several U.S. patents for data communications technology and has held board level positions at numerous startup corporations.

Phillip Baker, Vice President of Sales - National Accounts

Phil Baker joins Pannaway after 28 years of delivering solutions to the IOC/ILEC and CLEC Markets. Most recently he was VP of Sales — IOC Advocate for GenBand and West Region VP of Sales in the spin off from Siemens. He began his service to the Industry with Stromberg-Carlson a subsidiary of General Dynamics and provided continuity through United Technologies, Plessey, GEC Plessey, Siemens and GenBand acquisitions. He exemplifies his genuine appreciation for the many people who have transformed our Communications Industry through many years of ingenuity and committed service.

Michael K. Lebar, Vice President of Engineering

Michael K. Lebar, Director of Engineering

As a voting member of the ANSI X3T9.5 FDDI, the IEEE 802 LAN/MAN Standards Committee, and the DSL Forum, Michael Lebar has actively participated in the development of networking standards worldwide. Prior to joining Pannaway he had been deeply involved in the design and development of Ethernet, ATM, and FDDI networking equipment. In addition he served as project lead for the development of a high-density xDSL switching platform at Net to Net Technologies.

Ed Buchner, Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Partner Development

Ed Buchner, Vice President of Business/Partner Development

Ed Buchner joins Pannaway after a 25 year career with Siemens Communications. That career started after Ed's early operations and engineering years with New York Telephone and PBX builder TeleResources. In 1983 Ed joined ROLM as a sales rep and has held both sales and marketing management positions with the subsequent owners, IBM and Siemens. Ed's most recent assignment was Director Business Development for Siemens Carrier Networks with particular focus on PON and VoIP solutions.

Kevin Brown, Vice President of Solutions and Product Marketing

Kevin Brown, Vice President of Solutions and Product Marketing

Kevin Brown has 15+ years of product definition, application and marketing experience in the networking industry. Prior to joining Pannaway, he served as the Vice President and General Manager at Enterasys Networks. Before Enterasys, Kevin was an advisor for the New Hampshire IT Steering Committee, helping the state tackle tough IT issues such as privacy, protection, and public Internet access. He currently serves as Pannaway's representative to the passive optical networking standards group, FSAN.
